I love this! We just came back from a Stargate Convention in Vancouver. They were selling the usual t-shirts, posters, prints, dvd’s etc but there was no sign of a zat gun. Probably just as well, as I would have bought one on the spot.

If you haven’t been to a convention yet then it is well worth it. We aren’t crazy Stargate fans but we like the show and thought it would be a bit of fun to attend. You get to meet many of the stars of the show and get their autographs and a photo with them if you want to pay a bit extra.

We also went on a tour of the set of both Stargate Sg1 and Stargate Atlantis at Bridge Studios. That would have to have been the highlight of the convention. Martin Gero who is one of the producers/writers took us around the set and we got a photo in front of the Stargate Sg1 iris with two of the minor stars of the show.

It was lots of fun and well worth attending. 

But back to the Zat Gun. Being an avid Stargate fan I know what I will be asking for for Christmas this year.

This Stargate Full-Sized Zat is an absolute must have for fans and collectors. So if you have a Stargate SG1 fan in your household they will love you for life if you get them one of these to add to their collection.

This Zat has been made with exacting precision from a solid resin compound, and  it has been cast directly from one of the original Zat Guns used on the production set of Stargate SG-1. 

The purple tail of the gun is made with a crystal resin and each weapon is individually hand painted to match the patina of the original. The Zat also comes with a magnificent rosewood Zat Gun presentation case for display, as well as a certificate of authenticity.

I can’t think of anything much better than arriving at a Stargate Convention and dressing up as a Jaffa Warrior complete with Zat Gun.
